ISLAMABAD: A body was found in Mohra Rajpotan, in the limits of Bhara Kahu police station on Sunday.
A police official not authorised to speak on record said the victim has been identified as a 27-year-old labourer, Abid Hussein, son of Azhar Hussein
“It looks like the victim was killed because there were wounds on his head, neck and right hand. The victim was married,” he said.
The body was moved to Polyclinic for an autopsy, for which a doctor was not available since it was Sunday.
The duty officer at Bhara Kahu police station, Arshad Ali, told Dawn that a doctor was then called from home to perform the autopsy, after which the body was handed over to the family.
He said the cause of death could not be determined from the postmortem and that samples have been sent for forensic testing.
