KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday said that the Bohra community had played a laudable role in the development and prosperity of Sindh, particularly the city of Hyderabad.

“They are valuable citizens of the province,” he said while speaking to Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the spiritual leader of the Bohra community, who met him at CM House, where the CM had hosted a tea party for him.

Lauding Dr Syedna’s spiritual leadership, the chief minister said the former had led his community so peacefully that none of its members had ever been found involved in any subversive activity. “This is the result Dr Syedna’s teachings,” he said.

“The Bohra community has played a very constructive role right from the creation of Pakistan to this day.”

Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin showed his interest in culture, art and craft of Sindh and said mysticism had left positive imprints on the lives of the people of Sindh.
