Atif Aslam fans in Gurgaon are in for a disappointment. The Pakistani crooner has refused to go ahead with his scheduled concert in Gurgaon due to non-payment of dues, reports IANS.

The 'Tu Jaane Na' singer was supposed to perform at the Leisure Valley venue in Gurgaon this weekend; however, he backed out when "the organiser [did not] transfer us the performance payments in the allocated time," the singer announced on his Facebook page.

The post also requested Aslam's fans to be cautious before buying tickets: "We request fans not to buy the tickets for the concert and beware of the concerts from this company in future."

The 32-year-old, who entered Bollywood in 2005 with ‘Woh Lamhe’ from the film Zeher, has big fan following in India with hit songs like ‘Yakeen’, ‘Doorie’ and ‘Hum Kis Gali’, ‘Jeena Jeena’ and ‘Bakhuda Tumhi Ho’ to his credit.

So why has not gotten paid yet, very interesting? I cannot imagine that this lack payment is going to deprive viewers of his talent and i would be very upset if i was one of those folks attending it.

If you cannot afford to pay just say so ahead of concert, he will perform free but don't disappoint fans, that's not good.

That's the real indian economy. Make big promises but cant pay due to lack of funds. That's why many foreign companies withdraw but after they have been duped by indians.

So did he receive the payment or not? He has written he wasn't paid in the allocated time, but was he paid eventually? If he was, has he returned the payment back to the organisers?

may be the concert did not like Atif voice because he sings from nazal! Maybe last minute they decided not to count on him because the masses may not get there gathered in large number except few so revenue generate may not be good. Why our Indian concerts back the less popular singer in India? After all its business if we don't see revenue batting on him why should our concerts pay him?
