PESHAWAR: Three members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, including a sitting minister, have submitted separate resolutions at the assembly secretariat, condemning MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s diatribe against the country.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Sports and Tourism Mehmood Khan, PPP lawmaker Nighat Orakzai and PTI’s Fazal Elahi have submitted the resolutions at the assembly secretariat condemning the MQM chief’s vitriolic speech.

The resolution submitted by Mehmood Khan demanded of the federal government to take action against MQM chief and other party leaders for chanting anti-Pakistan slogans at a rally on Monday.

Resolution tabled by Nighat Orakzai is also signed by Fakhr Azam Wazir and PTI lawmaker Mehmood Jan and condemns Altaf Hussain’s diatribe and asks government to take notice of his seditious and rebellious comments.

The resolution also asks for extradition of MQM chief from UK and his trial and hanging under the article 6. The resolution also condemns attacks on media houses by MQM workers.
