Why not do something different this Independance Day, like head over to the music fest, Azaadi Rocks to hear Atif Aslam croon live?

The Azaadi Rocks Music Festival is a project by CKO (Chapra Khan Omari Event Architecture), the creators behind events like Karachi Eat and Light the Night - Chand Raat. Their initiative involves citizens taking back public spaces and this festival is the latest event which they hope to make an annual feat.

Atif Aslam will be joined by an impressive line-up of stars such as Kaya Band, Chronicles of Khan, Mai Dhai, Fuzon and Zoe Viccaji.

"In Karachi the custom house, Eduljee Road is opening its doors to the 14th of August, a huge celebration for Independence day. Come and find out what Azaadi means to you," says Zoe Viccaji about the event.

Happening at a new development in Karachi, which is the Eduljee Road, the event will begin with a 100 person marching band going up to the stage, where the musicians will then begin their performances.
