SIALKOT: Three children of a trader went missing from their house in village Jaamkey Cheema-Daska on Friday.

Qaiser Pervaiz Cheema told police he along with his wife had gone to Wazirabad to see their elder daughter leaving their daughter, Mehak Shehzadi, 14, and sons Abu Bakar, 8, and Iram, 5, back at home.

When they returned home, the children were not there. He feared they had been kidnapped.

Daska Deputy Superintendent of Police Lal Muhammad Khokhar told reporters the Motra police had started investigation.

MURDER CASES: The Daska police have traced seven murder cases and arrested the accused in the cases.

Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Abid Khan told reporters on Friday they used scientific methods of investigation to dig out the truth.

The DPO said Imran and Kamran had killed Nasreen Bibi in village Kaanwaan Lit-Daska late on June 17.

In another case, they had arrested Nazia Bibi for killing her husband Iftikhar Ahmed with the help of accomplices Irshad Bibi, Qadeer and Riasat in village Mandraanwala-Daska late on July 11.

Abdul Waheed and Abbas allegedly killed Sameena Bibi in village Fazalabad-Motra on March 25.

Faryad, Murad, Shahzad, Kaneez Bibi, Tahira and Ishtiaq have been arrested for killing Faisal in village Aadha-Motra on July 10. Dilbar, Asif, Kaslum, Hamid, Afzal and Akbar were wanted to police in the murder case of Muhammad Imran and Zubaida Bibi, who were killed in village Boobkaanwala-Daska on March 1.

Accused Usama had shot dead friends Rabi, Hamid and Zain in village Malhiyaanwala late on June 23. Police were interrogating the accused.

The DPO announced cash prizes and appreciation certificates for the raiding police officials of the Daska Circle.

CHEQUES: MPA Javaid Arshad Warraich gave away cheques for Rs500,000 each, on behalf of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, on Friday to the families of minors Asim and Ali Hassan.

The minors had died in roof collapse incidents in rain in village Dhillum Ballagun, Sambrial, on July 27.
