DERA MURAD JAMALI: Former prime minister and veteran politician Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has urged the government and opposition parties to join hands to resolve the issues being faced by the nation and the country.

Talking to newsman and a delegation of politicians in his village Rojhan Jamali on Friday, he said that it was the responsibility of the government and all political parties to solve all problems of the country.

Mr Jamali said that all institutions were functional in the country and were doing their job properly. “The government, judiciary, army and opposition are very much functional,” he said, adding that it was the responsibility of the government and opposition parties to jointly work to find a solution to problems being faced by the people across the country.

In reply to a question about Balochistan, Mr Jamali said the situation in the province had improved to a great extent and in the coming days it would become better. “I see improvement day by day in the law and order situation in Balochistan,” he added.

He said that Pakistan had always supported the Kashmir cause and it would continue to extend its political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris.

He said that sacrifices being rendered by the Kashmiri people would not go in vain and their struggle would be successful. He said that Kashmir was passing through a very crucial time at present and it was the responsibility of the United Nations to play its role in resolving this old dispute.
