Pakistan’s leading online food ordering service, foodpanda, has launched a month-long discount campaign which offers a 20 per cent discount on its entire menu.

The latest campaign by foodpanda also waives off delivery charges for all orders.

The online event started on July 11 and will last till the end of the month.

Foodpanda’s latest campaign is the result of research into consumer and industry demands by their research unit.

“We constantly asked ourselves a question: how can we bring about a massive growth in the industry? Our objective solved the puzzle. We want to deliver what our customers expect of us,” said Marketing Manager Omair Baksh.

The research conducted offered "invaluable insights into industry trends, consumer preferences and input from all stakeholders including restaurant owners."

“The food ordering industry is hungry for growth. A flat 20pc discount on entire menu and no delivery fees of more than 500 restaurants is bound to create that effect. It is what our customers want and we are prepared to deliver exactly that,” added Baksh.

With the month of Ramazan over, foodpanda aims to reinvigorate growth in the food ordering industry, and the 20pc discount coupled with no delivery fees will help in achieving the goal, the company says.

“As far as the business is concerned, we’re expecting an explosive growth this month, for us as well as the industry by delivering what customers want – best value for money campaign,” the marketing manager further elaborated.

Foodpanda offers a convenient platform to order food online through its mobile app (Apple Store, Google Play, Windows Phone Store) and website.

More than 1,000 local and international food chains are available. foodpanda.pk currently offers its services in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and other cities.
