First things first. Here's what we know about Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai from its just released trailer.

Feroze Khan and Sajal Aly are married with a child. Feroze Khan wants to be a filmmaker. Sajal Aly thinks he has no time for that and needs to get his sh*t together. Their arguments escalate to melodramatic proportions.

Sajal Aly leaves (in a taxi that her hubby could have totally chased on foot) and now their kid is asking questions about Daddy. Meanwhile, Feroze Khan is banging away at a typewriter, getting into ketchupy bloody fights and has grown a beard.

Will this perfect familybe able to put the pieces back together again? Guess that's the big question that'll be answered in the film.

With that out of the way, here are parts of the trailer that has us confused.

1) This animated tear.

Did they run out of glycerine? 'Cause Sajal definitely had some:

2) How did this trite piece of dialogue make it to the film trailer?

Was there no other gem from the script?

3) Feroze and Sajal's signature move is 'the see-saw'. Really?

Warning: watch this a couple of times, and it kinda grows on you.

4) What is Feroze doing here?

You're leaning against a pillar... in an underpass... during peak traffic. How did you even get there?

5) Is this film really about the making of a frustrated artist?

First, the kid voices the opening prologue, effectively framing the story for the audience as he waxes philosophical about people being the colours of your life or somesuch. That's a pretty prominent part.

Then, there are several shots of him going at it at the easel, producing fairly sophisticated artworks for a child.

He goes on to utter dialogues like 'I love my Daddy' and 'Please tell me where Daddy is'.

Why is this kid featured so heavily? Is the film really about him? Daddy issues + artistic talent = child prodigy, maybe?

We'll have to wait till Eid ul Azha to find out.

the review seems a little harsh, and seems to be case for all lollywood movies.

If the trailer is anything to by, this movie will be trash.

Feroz Khan was known as Feroz Malik some years ago. Some months ago he changed his last name from Malik to Khan. I do not know why people are in such inferiority complex to gain some fame.

Quite a disconnect between the title of the film and the trailer. Nothing "haseen" about "zindagi" is in the trailer...
