MITHI: Several areas of the Thar desert region including Mithi received moderate rain on Saturday turning weather pleasant after weeks of sizzling heat.Light to moderate rain with thunderstorm lashed Chhachhro, Dahli, Islamkot, Chelhar, Nagarparkar and many other areas before sunset and was continuing till late in the evening.
Meanwhile, a report from Ashan Shah village near Islamkot said that lightning struck a locality and killed 15 goats belonging to a villager, Gul Mohammed Shah.
