After that troubled episode at Delhi airport a few years back, ace singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan found it difficult to perform in India as freely as he liked. Those days are over. He is currently having a whale of a time across the Wagah border and winning more hearts with his inimitable voice than ever.
Rahat FK’s live singing on a television music competition show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa left many gasping for more and his little bit of fooling around on the comedy programme with Kapil Sharma showed his lighter side to his Indian fans. Add to this the success of the song Jag Ghummia that the Pakistani vocalist has sung for the forthcoming Salman Khan film Sultan, and you will know that these days he can’t make a wrong move. Not even at Delhi airport.
