KARACHI: Pakistan Railways (PR) announced on Thursday that it would run as many as 10 special trains to facilitate passengers on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

According to sources in the PR, the first Eid train will leave for Peshawar from Karachi on July 3. The second Eid train will depart for Malakwal on July 3 at around 8.30pm and the third will leave for Quetta the same day at around 11:30pm.

The fourth train will leave for Lahore from Karachi at around 11am while the fifth train will run from Rawalpindi to Multan on July 4 at 7am. The sixth special trains will leave Multan for Rawalpindi on July 9 after Eid at 7am.

Three special trains will return to Karachi on July 10. The train from Peshawar will reach Karachi at 11am, the train from Malakwal will arrive at Karachi at 2pm and the train to Lahore will return to Karachi at 8pm on July 10. The tenth and last train will depart for Quetta from Rawalpindi at 11am on July 10.
