Have you posted a cute Father's Day message on social media yet? If not, stop reading this and go do it.

And if you have, well, you know what they say: celebs, they're just like us!

Father’s Day is upon us once again and stars, too, have taken to Twitter or Instagram to pay homage to their dads. Here’s a sample of their tributes:

Some thanked their fathers:

Papa you are the best father in the world ❤️ Thank you 😘Love you😘 #happyfathersday to all :)

Some basically wished themselves:

Here's Anushka Sharma as a toddler;

David Beckham, Bilawal Bhutto and Shahbaz Taseer also dug up baby pictures:

Sometimes, a mother takes on the role of a mom and a dad and they deserve to be honoured too on this day

Growing up , never thought of any special day for mother & father. They were there ,always loved by their children. Our well to do class is becoming copycat , emulating western culture, mother day, father day, next , brother day , sister day .

Father day is a business opportunity. It is also a western cultural thing where adult sons and daughters see their father may be once a year. When parents get old they are put in senior citizen's home. Our culture and traditions are very rich and we see our father every day. We take care of our parents when they are old. Therefore, it is lack of confidence and understanding of cultural heritage that we copy west in our thing.

Expressing your love for one day during the whole year for someone who loved you the whole of his life is simply naive.

@farid, waqas, anees We live our normal lives everyday yet once a year we celebrate birthdays of our nears and dears ( and our own of course) . Similarly we love and cherish our parents everyday but once a year, we give them that special status and regards which comes on Father's day or Mother's day. True there is commercialism in it but eventually it's the thought that counts.
