He's the King of Swing; Could he now be the king of colognes?

Junaid Jamshed's lifestyle brand, J. Fragrances has collaborated with the cricket legend, Wasim Akram to release a cologne honouring him called 414.

"Wasim Akram is the the highest wicket taker in test cricket for Pakistan, having taken 414 wickets in 104 matches; We thought it would make for the perfect name for the perfume," shares Mohammed Ali Mufti, the head of sales and marketing at J. Fragrances.

"He is a legend in all aspects -- He's a great sportsman but has also maintained the image of a responsible family man and that's why we decided to pay tribute to him in this way."

Several cricketers, including Virat Kohli and Shahid Afridi have posted videos on their social media accounts congratulating the left-arm pacer on the scent launch.

The launch happened at the Pearl Continental on Saturday and needless to say, it was a star-studded affair.

Celebrities flocked to the event to show their support.

Tableeghi Jamaat has issued many Fatwas against the use of Perfumes, Eau de toilette and Colognes. Meanwhile a prominent figure of this Jamaat Mr Junaid Jamshed is launching a Cologne brand. So much hypocrisy and double standards in walks of daily life in Pakistan.

Talent wise he was the best bowler ever to played the cricket, I have played and watched cricket from last 45 years no body come close to him. If not for Pakistani fielders dropping catches on his bowling and Wasim involvement in cricket gambling he would have been the on bowler ever to take more then 800 wickets in test another 800 in one day cricket and I am not exaggerating.

@Awan Thankyou for the ignorance. Tablighi jamaat dont issue fatwa, and scholars have allowed using perfumes with alcohol. http://www.islamawareness.net/Alcohol/fatwa_alcohol001.html
