'Terrorist attempt' thwarted as two suspected militants arrested in KP

RAWALPINDI: Security forces averted a 'terrorist attempt' by arresting two suspected militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.
The arrests were made during two intelligence-based operations in the villages of Karebai Oghi and Charangada near Mansehra, an ISPR statement said.
A 20 kilogram pressure cooker Improvised Explosive Device, hand grenades, pistols, an AK-47 rifle and rockets were recovered from the suspects, ISPR said.
