LAHORE: The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Saturday acknowledged typographical errors in the Intermediate Part-I mathematics (Group-I) paper and announced that full credit will be given to the candidates who attempted the question.

The board said that in the mathematics (Group-I) paper for Intermediate Part-I Annual Examination 2016, two typing mistakes were identified in as many questions by a special team of paper setters and head examiners.

“One error was in Question No 20 of objective paper and other in Question No 9 (b),” it said.

The board’s rules committee has recommended that full credit would be awarded to those candidates who have attempted the said questions.
