LASBELA University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) is the only science university in Balochistan.

It offers degree programmes in marine sciences, agriculture, water resource management, animal and social sciences.

The university is playing an active role in the propagation of quality education in Balochistan.

It is situated in a suitable and ideal place. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has ensured further development of Balochistan.

The government should formulate a plan to utilise the expertise of this university for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in establishing animal (camels, cows, goats, etc) farms and agricultural farms, so that livestock and agriculture may prosper in the province.

The university may be provided projects to strengthen its capacity.

The university can also provide educated human capital for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
