KARAK: Prof Wazir Shadan Khattak said on Thursday that Pashto literature was incomplete without Khushal Khan Khattak, regretting that he had been introduced as a warrior though he was a philosopher, poet and mufti.
He was addressing a seminar as a chief guest in Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak, on ‘the life and works of Khushal Khan Khattak’. He said that Pashto literary history had two phases; the first phase started from the era of Ameer Kror and the second phase from Bayazeed Ansari and Akhund Darweeza Baba.
Prof Shadan said that Khushal Baba was the author of many books and any comments on the Pashto literature would be incomplete without narrating the services of Khushal Khan Khattak for Pashto literature.
