KARACHI: Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif visited the Southern Command Headquarters Quetta where he was briefed on operational matters and security situation in Balochistan on Thursday.

According to a tweet by the ISPR director general, the army chief appreciated the efforts of law enforcement agencies, especially intelligence agencies, in unearthing foreign intelligence agencies’ networks that are working against the state of Pakistan in order to destabilise it. “Together we will defeat any nefarious designs of hurting Pakistan and root ... hostile elements out of our country,” he was quoted as saying.
