KARACHI: Off-spinner Mohammad Iqrar grabbed 5-36 to help Orangi United CC enter the quarter-finals of the KCCA Zone-VI Daud Khan Memorial Cricket Tournament with crushing 134-run win over Golden Gymkhana here on Wednesday.

After reaching 264 all out at the Afza Cricket Ground, Orangi United CC dismissed Golden Gymkhana for just 120 in 22 overs.

Orangi Muslim CC, inspired by Imran Khan’s brilliant all-round performance, also reached the last-eight stage when they defeated Sakhi Hasan Gymkhana by 74 runs at the latter’s ground.

Imran struck 113 with the aid of 10 boundaries and two sixes as his side posted 280-8 in their 35 overs. He then bagged 3-24 to back up fine pace bowling from Mashood Khan who took 5-58 as Sakhi Hasan Gymkhana were all out for 206.
