MUZAFFARABAD: Two of a family were killed and four were injured in a road accident in a remote area of the Neelum Valley on Tuesday, according to a police official in Kel.

A family of five were travelling from Kel to Taobutt, the last village in the Neelum Valley, in a rented vehicle which veered off the road and fell down 100 feet onto a river bank.

Rainfall had made the road slippery due to which the driver lost control of the vehicle, the police official explained.

The two men who died have been identified as Liaqat Ali Bajwa and Junaid Ali Bajwa while three of their family members were injured including Zain Ali Bajwa, Anam Zain and Nasreen Bajwa. The driver, Iqbal, was also injured.

Nasreen, whose husband Liaqat was killed, is said to be in critical condition.
