LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif says some political elements are trying to create anarchy to achieve their personal interests.

“The people are conscious and fully support Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and the elements will fail to hoodwink the masses,” the chief minister was quoted as saying to some PML-N parliamentarians here on Monday.

Those who called on him included MNA Chaudhry Hamid Hameed and MPA Chaudhry Abdul Razzaq Dhillon.

The chief minister said that the PML-N leadership would live and die with the masses. He said plunderers of national resources and those who got their loans written off would have to face accountability. He said offshore companies of those raising hue and cry over Panama Leaks had also come to fore and that after setting up of the judicial commission facts would become crystal clear.
