According to a survey conducted last year of 45 CEOs who have a mentor or a relationship where they receive advice and support related to their work, 71pc credited that mentorship for an improvement in their company’s overall performance. 84pc of these CEOs also said that their mentors helped them become more proficient as leaders and avoid costly mistakes. 69pc said that they were making better decisions due to mentoring.
