LANDI KOTAL: Five suspected militants were killed in a clash with security forces in a remote area of Khyber tribal region on Wednesday midnight.
Security officials said that a group of militants attacked a border checkpost in Darmo Drab area and in the ensuing gunfight five attackers were killed.
The other attackers fled, taking advantage of darkness, they added.
Bodies were brought to the Jamrud Civil Hospital where two were identified as Saeed Walikhel of Ghundi area and Sabir Shah of Malakabad.
