KARACHI: Lack of accountability at all fronts in Pakistan cricket is the main cause of the team’s poor performances, former coach Mohsin Khan said on Tuesday.

“Pakistan has been performing poorly and nothing is being taken seriously,” he said. “Our top order is flopping which is raising lots of questions.”

Mohsin was of the view that the way the team is performing, Bangladesh could prove to be a very dangerous opposition when the two teams face off in their do-or-die Asia Cup Twenty20 encounter on Wednesday.

“The national team has suffered in the recent series against England and New Zealand while it is also struggling in the Asia Cup,” he added.

“Losing and winning is a part of the game but Pakistan are playing very poor cricket.”

Mohsin admitted he was surprised why the players were not delivering and said the “coaching staff failed to motivate the players”.
