LAHORE: Pakistan women’s team defeated Afghanistan 66-19 in a friendly basketball match in Guwahati, India, according to the information released by the Pakistan Basketball Federation.

After the basketball event was eliminated from the ongoing 12th South Asian Games, due to a dispute between two warring groups of the Indian basketball federation, Pakistan and Afghanistan played the friendly match.

Pakistan led the first half 40-15. Mehru Khan (17), Sana (12), Samia (12), Natasha Nisar (10), Kainat (9) and Amna (6) were the key contributors for the winners.
