OKARA: A local magistrate on Tuesday reserved verdict on the bail plea of Indian cricketer’s fan and fixed Feb 10 (today) for announcement.
Earlier, counsel Aamir Azeem Bhatti completed his arguments on the bail petition of his client Umar Draz of village 54-2L whom Okara Saddar police had arrested for hoisting an Indian flag on the roof of his house on Jan 25.
A case was registered against him under section 123-A of PPC and 16 MPO.
Umar Draz turned out a fan of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. He had photographs of his favourite cricketer pasted on the outer wall of his house.
Umar has been behind bars for the last two weeks.
His counsel told this correspondent on cell phone that the magistrate after hearing arguments fixed Wednesday (today) for verdict on the bail application of Umar Draz.
