Actors Danish Taimoor and Aiza Khan are starring in a Valentine's Day special telefilm, Teri Meri Love Story, but it won't be based on their real-life romance.

The husband-wife duo are starring in a romantic-comedy that also tackles how the media sets up strange expectations about love and marriage.

Aiza stars as Sonia, a 'filmi girl', who wants to marry Zaid (Danish). She expects that her love life will be full of hurdles - just like any old-fashioned romance on TV or the movies. However, her marriage plans go exactly as planned, and this makes her upset!

According to Danish Taimoor, "it's a simple love story, and [incorporates] all the aspects of entertainment ."

"The story is a comedy," says the writer Syed Zain Raza, "but it also sends a message about how much influence TV and films have on our lives and how excess of anything is bad for us."

The telefilm will be directed by Furqan Khan and will air on Geo TV.

Everyone would want to see their love story despite not being their real one. I can tell this pair is going to rock.

Love and tolerance is the best medicine. Please also show that it is okay if a guy's advances are rejected by the girl and that there is no shame in it. All the guy has to do is move on and find another girl as it is not he end of the world. One can not give up and need to keep looking as there are plenty of fish in the water. One will eventually find the right match...
