Boy o by, talk about being vain or wasteful (depending on which side of the fence you are). To impart her role a touch of reality in the film Fitoor, Ms gorgeousness personified Katrina Kaif needed to colour her hair red (don’t confuse it with the phrase ‘paint the town red’).

Katrina K is so fussy about her appearance that she did not trust any Indian hairstylist to do the job for her, and instead invited an expert all the way from London to, so to speak, redden her hair. According to one report, this cost the producers of the film Rs55 lacs. Woosh! What a hair-raising price.
