KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $20.275 billion during the week ending January 29 compared to $20.502bn the previous week, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.
The SBP reserves decreased by $212 million to $15.435bn from $15.647bn, and the other banks’ holdings were $4.840bn as compared to $4.855bn.

And external debt is close to $70 billions & potentially could go up to $105 billions by the time current administration leave the office. $20 billions doesn't impress me. If Pak default, lenders would freeze the funds. What would impress me, when governance get clean out & export grows. Bangladesh is exporting more than Pakistan and their current account deficit is much better than Pakistan.

@Kp - I'm a pakistani & I definitely want to know how they are doing. We always competing with India, why not Bangladesh. Bangladesh has less resources and have same issue with government & corruption but they are doing much better than us. Let's get our act together and do better for the nation or else we will look good only in fictional stories not in reality. It is sad when textile industrial moving their work to Bangladesh due to electric shortage. Think about that....
