KARACHI: The customs intelligence claimed on Thursday to have seized a container imported from China, carrying more than 20,000 kilograms of explosives.
In a statement, the department’s spokesman said that customs officials on a tip-off examined one of the containers at the godown of Karachi port and found it carrying explosives.
“The total weight of explosive stands at 22,000 kilograms,” said a statement issued by the directorate customs and investigation (enforcement). “The container is part of the consignment which was imported a few months ago from China and then two containers were seized in Peshawar. After seizure of those containers, the importer left the third one abandoned at the port and did not attempt to clear the consignment,” it said.

This is a malicious attempt to sour pakiztani relations with China. Why didnt they name the importer and even if they need them, how can webe sure that these actually did come from china ?
Ships stop at various ports including imdia before arriving in pakistan. So all aveneus have to be considered before finger pointing.

China is not only a Super Power but also the only trusted friend for so many long years who has tremendously helped us in the past and is even now helping us in more than one way but if we blame China sending explosives to Pakistan and that too undocumented and without any declaration then China will not only sue Pakistan and ask for heavy damages but also abandon us for good. Does it make any sense at all that a brother is sending such a gift to another brother? For God's sake check (a) if the container has explosives or fire crackers (b) double check if it has been sent from China (c) who is its recipient in Pakistan.
