KARACHI: Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) vice president Razi Nawab Sr brushed aside top seeded Naresh Khatri of India in the 55-plus singles first round here at the ITF Seniors Championship being played at the Karachi Club tennis courts. Razi was home 6-2, 6-0.

Meanwhile, In the 45-plus singles quarters, national champion of the category Rashid Malik got the better of Javed Iqbal by 6-2, 6-4 while Raza Mirza beat Noorullah in straight sets as well.

Young Marib Malik beat Talha Suhail and Nazif Ahmed outplayed Zubair Raja to set up final clash.
