GWADAR: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has exhorted the youth to benefit from the educational environment the government has created in the province to ensure their bright future.

Speaking at a cheque distribution ceremony under the Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Programme at Turbat University on Tuesday, he asked students to concentrate on obtaining higher education instead of looking for minor jobs.

“You are living in an era of competition and merit in which only those people will succeed who have knowledge and skills. Therefore you should mould yourselves according to modern requirements and work hard to meet future challenges,” he said.

“The contemporary age belongs to well-educated and knowledgeable people with a strong character, not to the rich.”

He announced a Rs5 million grant for providing laptops to 100 students of the university.

Vice Chancellor Prof Abdul Razzak Sabir thanked the chief minister for taking interest in the university affairs.
