LAHORE: A group of lawyers locked courtroom of a civil judge at Model Town courts on Friday allegedly for not passing a ‘favourable’ decision.
Lahore High Court Chief Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik took a strong notice of the incident and rushed to Model Town along with Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah and Registrar Tariq Iftikhar.
The chief justice got the courtroom of Civil Judge Iftikhar Husain unlocked and rescued him.
District and Sessions Judge Bahadur Ali Khan was also present on the occasion. Justice Malik constituted a committee to probe into the matter.
