Cinemas in Quetta

Published October 7, 2015

Quetta is the capital of Balochistan. Yet, its residents hardly have any sort of entertainment.

All other cities of Pakistan have various sources of entertainment, including cinemas. This is something Quetta lacks and badly needs. There are cinema halls which show Pushto films but these are not quality films or films that you can watch with your family. During the past few months, several good Pakistani films like Moor, Manto, Shah, etc., have been released.

When you read good reviews about them, you want to watch them all the more. But none of the cinema halls here release such films. I request the Balochistan government to release good films in Quetta besides ensuring other forms of entertainment.
