LAHORE: The Punjab University and the Arizona State University on Monday signed an MoU to promote academic exchange, faculty exchange and cooperation in teaching and research between them.

PU Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran, ASU Religious Studies Assistant Professor Dr Chad Haines, ASU Cronkite School of Journalism Director Global Programs Dr B William Silcock, Associate Dean Kristin Gilber and PU Director External Linkages Dr Maria Maldonado were present at the signing of MoU ceremony.

The participants discussed various areas of mutual interest and stressed the need to enhance academic relations between the two institutions.

The Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) and Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) of Punjab University will avail the exchange programme.
