KHUZDAR: A man was killed and a bullet-riddled body was found in Kalat district on Sunday.

According to the Levies Force, armed men opened fire on one Haji Khan in Dasht Kalan area, killing him on the spot.

Levies personnel took the body to hospital where doctors said the victim had received multiple bullet injuries.

The identity of the killers and motive for the attack could not be ascertained.

But Levies officials suspected old enmity behind the attack.

Meanwhile, Levies personnel recovered a bullet-riddled body from Shori area of Surab tehsil and took it to hospital. They had been informed about the body by the area people.

The deceased was identified as Mehmood Parkani.

“He was shot in the head and other parts of the body at close range,” officials said.
