Malaria claims five lives

KHUZDAR: Five children have died of malaria in Kunraj area of Lasbela district during the past few days, officials say.

According to the local health department, deaths were reported from Sahib Khan Goth and Omar Khan Goth after the outbreak of the disease in the area.

The officials said that health teams had been sent to the area and severely infected children were being sent to Karachi for treatment.
