Having settled in as Chairman of Yash Raj Films, director-producer Aditya Chopra is finally set to return to direction after a long gap of seven years with his upcoming venture Befikre.

In a heartfelt imaginary conversation with his deceased father Yash Chopra on his 83rd birthday, Aditya shared his aspirations to make a film that may not be the biggest under Yash Raj Films (YRF) banner but will definitely be his 'happiest, youngest and riskiest' to date.

The exchange between son and father also gives an insight to the Yash Chopra mindset as he tells Aditya to 'back the risk taker' as he too 'had been most excited making the films where he took the biggest risks'.

The title of the film also comes from Senior Chopra's advice: "So go ahead and make the film you love, but make it with conviction and make it fearlessly — befikar hokay."

So after leaving off with Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jori, Aditya will be returning with Befikre — Those who dare to love.

The news has been a source of excitement in Bollywood, with Karan Johar taking to Twitter to send a shout-out to his mentor:

Although the cast is yet to revealed, there are speculations that the film will bring back the Band Baja Baraat duo, Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh, in the lead.
