SINCE inception, Pakistan has been facing multiple problems and challenge. But tolerance and democracy are most critical issues. Both are interlinked with each other. However, in present time we are facing religious intolerance, political intolerance and social intolerance. In this regard, we lost human values of harmony, mutual respect and understanding, peace and sense of relation.
Ironically, in democratic societies, tolerance plays a very important role. It is widely observed in a cricket match. At the end of the match the losing team shakes hands with the winning team. Democracy flourishes when the plant of tolerance is planted with the watering of acceptance of others winning.
