Star power: Fawad Khan and Maleeha Lodhi spotted at dinner in NYC

Fawad Khan, who's in New York for the launch of a mobile brand, had a very special event on his itinerary last night.

He was invited to attend a dinner hosted by Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

Fawad's presence at the dinner, which was attended by people from the Pakistani community in New York, was a 'delight' for the guests.

PR maven Frieha Altaf, who handles the publicity for the mobile brand, was also present at the dinner:

This isn't the first time Ms. Lodhi has shown her support for Pakistani artistes:

She was equally warm in the praise of the Ragagboyz who performed at the Independence Day celebrations in Long Island earlier this week:

She has been a prominent supporter of Pakistani fashion as well.
