QUETTA: Two suspected militants were killed in Noshki area in an armed clash with security forces on Monday.

Both of them belonged to the banned militant organisation and were involved in attacking security forces and targeting common people.

Confirming the death of suspects, a spokesman for FC Balochistan said the forces, along with intelligence agencies, launched a search operation on information about the presence of suspected people in Lijjy area of Noshki district.

A heavy exchange of fire took place between security forces and militants, resulting in death of two suspects. “A large quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered during operation.”

Hand grenades and automatic weapons were recovered from their hide out,” the spokesman added.
