LAHORE: Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has launched E-register programme for its partner schools attached under Education Voucher Scheme (EVS).

The pilot project has been launched from Lahore and will be expanded to other districts, said a PEF spokesman on Thursday.

The EVS schools had also been directed to submit their monthly attendance maximum by fifth of every month after summer vacation and a helpline had been set up for the guidance of the partners about data entry. The EVS partners could also contact at 042-99268250 and 35772032 in case of any query.

The EVS is a beneficial programme for arranging free education of needy children in PEF partner schools of choice. More than 321,000 vouchers are issued to needy boy and girl students in 36 districts of the province, said the spokesman.
