City govt email

Published July 31, 2015

I CANNOT understand why Karachi’s city government doesn’t advertise its email address so that citizens can send their complaints. The city is rotting; heaps of rubbish can be seen everywhere; stagnant water disrupts traffic and is a breeding ground for mosquitoes; footpaths are broken, motorcycles drive the wrong way, and one-way roads have become a joke. But neither the city government nor the police department advertises its email addresses.

A complaint through email is a better than a phone call, because what is spoken on the telephone may be forgotten but what is there in the email lasts for record and action.
