THIS refers to the youth who drive motorcycles recklessly and menacingly in Karachi. This trend is rising day by day.

Perhaps city traffic police are helpless and have no courage to catch and punish these youth who are often under 18 but take part in speed contests. This is not only dangerous for them but also for pedestrians and vehicles.

Parents, on the other hand, are oblivious of what their children are doing. A teenager can ride a motorcycle in our city without any fear of arrest and fine, but when in a foreign country like Dubai, the UK, the US, Europe, South East Asia, they never dare to drive a motorcycle or a car in a reckless manner.

I request city’s traffic police chief, Sindh governor, and all other authorities to take immediate notice of this nuisance.
