I AM from Balochistan and my father is a government servant. I completed my undergraduate studies from a public sector university in Islamabad in 2013 – the same year when the government announced its laptop scheme for students of different universities.
However, when I applied for a laptop and submitted my form, the university administration told me this scheme was only for Punjab students.
I was hurt so much as my CGPA was about 3.46, or 76pc. My sister did her BSc from the Qaid-i-Azam University scoring more than 68pc in her annual examinations in 2014 and also considered for the roll of an honour award.
My question to the prime minister is: Are we not eligible for the laptop scheme?
