KARACHI: The inspector general of police, Sindh, Ghulam Hyder Jamali, on Monday appointed DIG (Special Branch) Zulfikar Larik the ‘focal person’ to ensure and monitor the process of police action against narcotics and gambling dens in the province with immediate effect, according to a police spokesperson.
The police chief gave specific directives for a ‘comprehensive and planned action’ against all those elements who were involved in patronizing such evils in society.
