APROPOS the news item “SC reprimands NAB for not investigating major scandals” (July 02). The apex court expressed its annoyance with NAB for not taking up mega corruption cases pending with the agency and directed the NAB Chairman to present to the court the status of 150 big corruption scandals by July 7.

The honourable apex court is requested to add two more major cases to their list. One, the LNG secretive deal with Qatar, and the other are the metro bus projects at Lahore and Islamabad completed at an excessive cost and without regard to other pressing needs.
