KARACHI: Pakistan limited-overs specialist Saad Nasim shared the limelight at the third Naya Nazimabad Ramazan Cricket Tournament with a blistering innings, while Babar Hussain Agha took five wickets as holders Omar CC annihilated Acme Technology by 146 runs at the Lawai Cricket Stadium here on Tuesday night.

In another fixture played earlier in the afternoon, Dubai Islamic Bank chalked up their second straight success when they crushed Jahanian Tigers by 108 runs.

Opting to bat first in the Group ‘A’ tie, Omar CC amassed 213-5 in their quota of 20 overs. Taking advantage of a weak bowling attack, Saad bludgeoned seven huge sixes and a brace of boundaries in scoring 91 from mere 43 deliveries.

Opener Fazal Subhan hammered 44 off 29 balls with four fours and two sixes and Shaharyar Ghani contributed a 22-ball 32 that included two sixes.
