LAHORE: Samjhota Express will run according to its schedule on Monday (today) but driven by an Indian driver between Wagah and Atari.
Indian authorities have yet to renew the visa of a Pakistani driver, which expired on June 18, said an official of the Pakistan Railways (PR) here on Sunday.
A PR driver from Lahore would take the train to Wagah, said the official and added same arrangements were in place to bring here more than 400 Sikh pilgrims through a special train from Atari on Sunday.
The official expressed the optimism that the Pakistani driver would get his renewed visa within a day or so and the Samjhota Express would be driven by a PR driver from Thursday.
